📚 Quick Start Guides

Installation & Setup

System Requirements

  • Windows 10/11
  • Minimum 16GB RAM (depending on network devices and the number of syslog messages)
  • Network connectivity to target devices
  • Internet connection (for device communication)

Installation Steps

  1. Download the installer from the secure download page
  2. Run as normal user (Administrator permissions are not required)
  3. Follow the installation wizard
  4. Launch the application and log in

Initial Configuration

  • Change default admin user password
  • Add users
  • Add network devices and configure protocol (SSH/Telnet)
  • Schedule backup
  • Configure email settings for notifications
  • Set up database backup location
  • Configure network devices for syslog

Device Setup

Adding Devices

  1. Navigate to Backup tab
  2. Click "Add Device" and enter device details
  3. Configure connection method (SSH/Telnet)
  4. Set credentials and test connectivity
  5. Assign to groups or sites for organization
